Holders of installation, waste operation or radioactive substances activity permits must operate in accordance with the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016.  The EA has issued this RPS to allow you to delay sending certain data and reports that are required by your permit – primarily those relating to monitoring, should this not be possible due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Unlike other RPSs, the EA requires you to tell them if you are making use of the allowances in this RPS.  You should email your EA regulatory officer, site inspector or local compliance team to do this.
