Guidance to Pharmacists

The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee have kindly given permission for us to make available copy of an excellent guidance document written by Steve Lutener  - Head of Regulation PSNC.


The document provides detailed guidance to pharmacists on the many technical issues surrounding disposal of waste medicines from Care/Nursing Homes, Returns from Domestic properties, Community needles, Licencing, Records etc.

 

 

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society have issued guidance for the NHS Hospitals sector for England and Wales and Information for Scotland on Hazardous Waste Pharmaceuticals.
